Da Hong Pao

From the rugged cliffs of Wuyi Mountain in Fujian, Da Hong Pao is the most celebrated of the “rock teas.” Renowned for its classic character of “rock soul and floral fragrance” — a harmony of mineral richness and elegant blossom aroma. It reveals notes of roasted wood, deep florals, and a smooth, lingering finish. Deep, complex, and dignified, it is warming and full-bodied when steeped hot, yet remarkably rounded and refreshing as a cold brew.

Brewing Instruction

Hot Brew: Steep 3–5 mins in 250 ml water above 95°C

Cold Brew: Infuse 300 ml cold water, refrigerate 6–8 hours

Iced Tea: Steep 5-6 mins in 150ml water above 95°C, then add 100g ice
